Elrod Goods is an extension of my desire to create.
I've always been fascinated by how things fit into a space and how they're made. Some of my earliest memories are of taking things apart just to understand how they worked. Today, that same curiosity drives every product I design.
For me, the most rewarding part of the process is taking an idea from a sketch on paper and working through every detail until it can be built efficiently, honestly, and by hand in my small Lancaster County shop.
I believe good design should be intentional and uncomplicated. Rather than demanding attention, the things we live with every day should quietly complement our spaces and continue to do so as styles and trends come and go.
Every piece begins here—from the first sketch to the final weld. I design, prototype, and build each product from the ground up, and in many cases, I even design and fabricate the tools needed to make it.
My goal isn't simply to make another product. It's to create something useful, thoughtfully designed, and built to be enjoyed for years to come.
